 | - Entamoeba histolytica. Cyst in fecal smear (iron hematoxylin stain, oil immersion). Three nuclei are clearly visible in this mature cyst; the fourth is centrally located and overlies and obscures a chromatoid body. This cyst has not undergone any appreciable shrinkage.
